After graduating with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2008, Ryan began working immediately as a retail pharmacist. Within the first year he was promoted an found himself managing pharmacies ranging from smaller independents to larger chain pharmacies like CVS. Since joining Senior Market Sales® in 2015, Ryan has been helping agents better understand Medicare prescription drug coverage scenarios. Ryan became a licensed insurance agent soon after joining the SMS so he could understand the business from all perspectives. Ryan completes AHIP annually and certifies with the carriers that SMS represents so he can anticipate and understand the issues agents are facing with the changing Medicare landscape.
Ryan enjoys helping make the insurance quoting and enrollment experience more streamlined for agents and their clients. Ryan’s close involvement with the development and quality assurance teams who deliver our technologies to agents made him a natural choice to manage the Marketing & Sales Systems Support team. Ryan is a working Pharmacy Director and manager who on any given day could be answering help desks ticket submitted by agents through our Lead Advantage Pro system or leading a webinar on how to use our exclusive tools and technology to leverage time and make more money.
Ryan was born and raised in a small southwest Nebraska town. His wife works in the healthcare industry and they have a young son who they are trying to steer towards golf. Ryan and his wife love to root for their favorite college sports team but they are a house divided between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
