Our Team

With more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Ben puts his clients first as a senior marketing consultant at Senior Market Sales^® (SMS). He began his career as an internal wholesaler at a retirement solutions institution in Des Moines, Iowa. He currently holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses and is working toward his RICP certification.

Ben believes that there is more to financial security than just closing a gap. He firmly believes financial security in retirement requires more than reaching a number. As an internal marketing consultant, he provides that priceless service to his agents in partnership with the resources SMS has to offer.

Ben was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor’s of Science and Business Administration. Outside of the office, Ben enjoys being outdoors with his dog Hank, volunteering his time locally or trying out new restaurants. A fun fact about Ben is that he is an avid scrabble player.
